An unwavering commitment to compassionate care, with deep respect for the dignity of each patient, will distinguish your Â鶹 education.

Â鶹 faculty will work with you to develop a compassionate, holistic approach to patient care - it is about addressing physical symptoms while caring for the heart, mind and soul. You will become an expert practitioner and innovative leader who will transform practice in an increasingly complex healthcare system.

You will work one-on-one with faculty who have real world experience in our state-of-the art simulation hospital rooms and acute care labs with Sim Manikins. Students learn the latest techniques, practice problem-solving and develop clinical judgment based on patient symptoms in a safe, supportive environment. Our Oak Brook location offers graduate nursing students the ideal setting to advance their knowledge to become nurse practitioners. Many of our MSN specializations and DNP are offered online for the convenience of working adults.

Your exposure to various clinical sites provides you with experience working with diverse patient populations. We believe that each person is unique and deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.

For more than 40 years Â鶹 has provided nursing graduates to Chicago and its surrounding suburban hospitals and primary care facilities.  As a result, our extensive network of healthcare partners provides our students with a variety of learning experiences in the in-patient and community settings placing our students where diverse patients and populations are located, tackling real world healthcare issues. Our curriculum is continually being modified to meet the demands of the healthcare system.

The College of Nursing and Health Sciences encompasses the fields of nursing, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and exercise and movement science.
